I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma in 2017. Confronting my own mortality led me to a new view of life – one where life and death are intermingled. New View (2018) and New View 2 (2019) consisted of seven wooden swings suspended high in trees in two different locations in Portland, Maine.
